• ADrink it. That’s the whole point, right? Maybe write tasting notes, share a photo of the opened bottle, spread the knowledge.
• BPhotograph it — possibly before you even get home (on your lap in the car) — then post it with “how’d I do?”
• CDisplay it in the basement bar, beside its siblings, on groaning shelves of unopened bottles. Then post the flex.
• DSell it. The market’s hot right now, and you are always closing.

• Do you have a spirit animal — and is it a bird (Eagle Rare, Wild Turkey, Old Crow) or a buffalo (Buffalo Trace, Benchmark)?
• Do you eagerly await new releases, and have you ever taken a “whiskey crotch shot”?
• When you acquire allocated bottles, do you actually open them — and how soon?
